Sports for Kids Winter Programs 2015

Equipment is supplied for all classes.

The “Learn to Play” program is taught with an emphasis on skill acquisition while having fun. The learning is all game based activities with some drills. That means that your child will be playing games that incorporate the skill that has been taught. This keeps the kids engaged in a fun way instead of just doing drills.

In the “Play for Fun” program the first two classes are skill development, followed by “Play for Fun” where the participants will be divided into teams and play the game for the fun of it. Some classes may have some further skill development if the instructor sees that it is required, but play time is maximized.

The fun programs are very  structured, and ideal for participants looking to improve their physical literacy. A Sports for Kids program increases your kid’s co-ordination, balance, speed, strength, and endurance while having FUN.

Instructors are N.C.C.P. certified, or are studying a related Degree and have coaching experience. They are Sports for Kids trained and have clean security checks and first aid. Registration is required please call 780-452-1266. (Best to call Monday to Friday between 9:00am and 3:00pm)
